DESCRIPTION
This new introduction has a distinctive, attractive purple skin with a white tip. They are resistant to cracking and bolting and are quick to harvest – taking only 35-40 days from sowing to reach maturity and can be succession sown from spring until early autumn.
SOWING ADVICE
Sow radish seeds in slightly acidic soil. Plant the seeds 1/4 inch deep and 1 inch apart in all directions. Thin the crop to one plant every 2 inches for spring radishes and 4 inches for winter radish. A semi-shaded and well-watered situation is essential in summer. Sow every few weeks from February to September.
